The Capitol at 100 | 2017

Marking the centennial of the Wisconsin state capitol building, I created a series of 8 x 10 salt prints, using a print process from 1803. The images were captured with a collodion dry plate glass negative, using a capture process from 1853.

​

Each print, in an edition of ten, was contact-printed in the sun, toned in gold chloride, waxed with beeswax, numbered and signed.
